SPARTITI / NOTATIONS

by Studio Ponsi - Andrea Ponsi

Notations are  a graphic configuration in which movements, gestures and sounds are noted. It is a graphic script formed of ideas, sensations and emotions. It is a drawn letter, a diary of images, an account of spaces, views, objects, figures, faces, people. Images are drawn from memory or improvised and sudden. The score allows for meditation, digressions, and speculations.

The Notation drawing is variable, accidental, indicating original visual possibilities, stimulating memories of sensations, even if blurred or vague. It is a harmonic drawing which develops like a piece of music, at times dramatic, at others joyful, tranquil or melancholic.
