"Andrea Ponsi – Casa de Cobre"
Centro de Extension de la Pontificia Universidad Catolica,
Santiago del Chile (Chile) 1998
Solo exhibition
An exhibition of the Andrea Ponsi design work to show how copper can be used for furnishing features. The objects and furniture are presented in their natural role inside an abstract house comprising various rooms (living, dining, bedroom etc.). The elongated silhouette of Chile has been outlined in the sand garden laid out in the centre of the building. The exact spots where the principal copper mines are located in Chile have been marked by several copper nuggets.
