Presentation of Andrea Ponsi's book "The design of Tuscany", Friday, December 1st at 17.00 at the headquarters of the Tuscany Region - Sala Pegaso, Palazzo Strozzi Sacrati, Piazza Duomo 10 - Florence.

The meeting, introduced by President Eugenio Giani, will see the journalist Laura Montanari talking with Andrea Ponsi about the role of design in interpreting the historical and landscape characters of places.

“Andrea Ponsi’s watercolors collected in this suggestive “carnet de voyage” through Tuscany are at the same time traditional and innovative. Traditional because they refer to the representation of the landscape that had its peak in the “vedutism” of the 18th and 19th centuries; innovative in that the atmosphere of the images, accompanied by the author’s accurate descriptions, is permeated with a spirit of abstraction of an absolutely modern character”.
